Trekking, hiking, or riding horses

For many travelers, the allure of horse riding holds a special fascination. And what could be more breathtaking and adventurous than embarking on a horse trekking experience? In Mongolia, horse trekking offers a unique and awe-inspiring adventure. As you ride and revel in the beauty of the Mongolian horses, your belongings and supplies will be transported by camels, creating a charming little caravan that follows along. This extraordinary journey combines the thrill of horseback riding with the spirit of bravery and adventure that walking trekking brings. Prepare yourself for an unforgettable and exhilarating experience.

What is the weather in these places where people do trekking?

In winter, Mongolia experiences the arrival of an expansive, frigid air mass originating from Siberia. This cold, dense air filters into river valleys and low basins, resulting in intensely cold temperatures. However, a fascinating contrast emerges as mountain slopes enjoy relatively warmer climates due to the phenomenon known as temperature inversion. The Siberian Anticyclone asserts its influence over the entire country during wintertime, firmly establishing Mongolia’s climate as notably continental. Summers are characterized by warmth, while winters are long, dry, and exceptionally cold. Consequently, for optimal trekking adventures, the season begins in late May and extends until early September, when the weather becomes more conducive to such activities. Prepare for an awe-inspiring journey through Mongolia’s dramatic and ever-changing landscapes during this time frame.
